Royal
Carillon
School
is part
of official subsidized
education
system
for specialized
part-time based education.
She
is
recognized
by
the Ministry
of
Education
and
Training
of the Flemish
Community
and
allows
to obtain
an
official
certificate
"Carillonneur"
(laureate
degree).
After this official certificate there is a possibility to
obtain
a
diploma
of excellence.
The
school
also maintains
close links
with
higher arts education
to obtain
a
Master
Degree.
The
study,
spread
over
three
degrees,
including:
carillon,
theory
and technique
of the
carillon,
piano,
harmony,
carillon transcription,
carillon
composition,
Campanology,
and
singing.

The first degree includes 4 years of study, the intermediate and higher degree 3 years. It is possible to study in a shorter period to complete, depending on the starting level and progress of the student. To each degree one can add maximum one year supplementary when necessary.
Students of the high degree will eather have to write a dissertation/thesis or work on a presentation of a campanological or historical issue.
